A Myopic Measurement for a Worst-Case Constraint
Abstract
Myopic information value can be aligned with worst-case admissibility only after the limiting scenario and requirement are defined. Evaluation should retain why each observation was purchased and check final joint outcomes independently. A favorable long-run nominal allocation cannot show that early measurements resolved the adverse condition that actually determines whether the action is usable. This focused synthesis develops an empirical comparison that preserves the terminal action, observation process, and total verification cost. Its proposed tests are prospective; no new simulation run, model-training result, or intervention effect is reported.
