Passage Attribution for Spatial Cancer Reviews
Abstract
In immune-state and tumor evidence synthesis, a convincing output can still be invalid when source relevance confused with proof of a causal interaction. A bounded review of the literature is used to formulate, rather than claim to complete, an evaluation. The starting source uses a conceptual review proposing immunometabolic set points across immune and tissue compartments. Attribution asks what evidence influenced a statement and whether that evidence supports it. Those are different tests. Remove and replace passages while monitoring individual claims. Pair influence analysis with qualified support judgments, retaining failures in either dimension. The proposed comparison concerns glial niches, supporting sources, generated claims; it would test whether the specific failure scenario is detected without erasing legitimate uncertainty. An integrated account should preserve the distinction between tissue contexts, clinical endpoints, and mechanistic claims and any stronger downstream decision.
