Abstract

An exponential allocation model and finite-time normal-reward analysis are different observation setups. They should not be combined through a generic noise label. A comparative study can hold the final decision fixed while varying output distribution and pilot information. Its evidence concerns checked choices at finite costs, rather than a transferred guarantee across incompatible assumptions. This focused synthesis develops an empirical comparison that preserves the terminal action, observation process, and total verification cost. Its proposed tests are prospective; no new simulation run, model-training result, or intervention effect is reported.
