Abstract

Offline value alignment and guided path search need an explicit connection between evidence and action value. Evaluation retains heterogeneous dynamics and the paths supporting the recommendation. Independent outcomes can show whether value compatibility changes the useful search trajectory. More stored transitions or more path expansions cannot alone establish a reliable final decision. This focused synthesis develops an empirical comparison that preserves the terminal action, observation process, and total verification cost. Its proposed tests are prospective; no new simulation run, model-training result, or intervention effect is reported.
