Abstract

Visibility differs sharply across the twenty KITTI sequences represented by eligible car labels. Their occlusion fractions range from 0.111 to 0.859, with a median of 0.451. The sequence-level rank correlation between occlusion fraction and median recorded depth is -0.290. This between-sequence description is distinct from an annotation-level adjusted depth association. The study uses released labels only. It motivates reporting scene composition and recording groups when evaluating driving generation rather than attributing every aggregate visibility pattern to vehicle depth alone.
